

Planning your PCS
Relocating is always stressful. First thing you need to do is prepare. We're here to make the process as smooth as possible! Our free moving binder is going to help you keep everything organized and manageable!
Binder Sections
Use a large, zippered binder with a variety of pockets, dividers and page protectors inside. In the pockets, place a pen, pencil, highlighter, tape, scissors, and extra paper. ​Digital Tip: Consider scanning and sending bulk documents to a portable hard drive.

Orders
Multiple copies in page protectors, digital copy on your smart phone. Sponsors info and leave paperwork.

Family
Birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, custody/adoption/guardianship
paperwork, social security cards, passports, driver’s licenses and other ID cards. Also include info for insurance policies, mortgages, credit cards and bills. School transcripts and emergency contact lists.

Departing Residence
Moving-out checklist and utility companies information.

New Residence
Temporary lodging/hotel
reservation confirmation, and all paperwork for house-hunting, leading or purchased home.

Property & Shipments
Documents and contact info for property offices, moving company, household goods inventory and storage facility contract, if applicable. Photos/video of household goods.

Transportation
Flight itinerary and tickets, hotel and rental car reservations. Driving plan with printed directions.

Medical
Medical, immunizations, dental and vision records. Eyeglass, contacts and medication
prescriptions. EFMP paperwork, if applicable.

Legal
Wills and power of attorney.

Pets
Pet immunization records, licenses, and other pertinent info, including quarantine.

Vehicles
Vehicle title, registration, insurance and inspection paperwork. If shipping a vehicle,
inspection sheet, photos and authorization letter from lien holder.

Financial
Keep receipts related to the move since many items can be claimed. Keep contact info for each credit and/or debt card.
Include income tax returns.
